Internship

During the summer between GLCM students’ senior and master’s academic years, students will intern with a company to gain practical experience with construction techniques and methodologies and real-world exposure to project sites. This component provides students with the opportunity to not only obtain practical experience, but the opportunity to network with construction companies and other stakeholders in the industry. GLCM students take a proactive approach to their internship roles in order to truly take advantage of industry experience. By doing so, they will be able to identify pertinent issues or problems that are related to their internships in order to formulate their year-long graduate independent study project.
